We got a glimpse of Keelies teenage years the other day. She LOVES cell phones! We gave her Joes to play with and she rolled over and started pushing buttons and it just reminded us of a teenager texting her friends. She also gets really mad when we take it away! She is so funny! We love our little girl so much! I also wanted to say that we won our co-ed city league softball tournament last night! I didn't take any pictures because I felt like its probably getting boring reading about all of our softball stuff. I am pretty proud though because that is 3 tournaments in row we have won!

St. George

Every year we go up to St. George for Joe to play in a softball tournament. The last two years a couple of us wives wanted to play in the womens tournament that goes on at the same time, so we got a team together. There are some VERY manly women that play in this tournament. Last year we got killed and didn't win one game. But this year after losing the first game we got to play in the lower division with teams that were alot more like us. Our goal was to do better than we did last year. But we did way better then we thought we would, we won! We had so much fun! And since our husbands team didn't do that great they were able to watch us for a change! The fun thing about this tournament is that we play all through the night. Our first game was at 9 Friday night, then we played at 2 in the morning and then at 4. Then we went and slept until like 1 in the afternoon. On Saturday our first game was at midnight, then 1 and the championship game was at 2 in the morning. I'm not a big soda drinker but I did have to drink some Mt. Dew to give me some energy that last night. Eventhough we had a blast, I was very eager to get home. We left Keelie overnight for the first time(actually 2 nights). I seriously missed her so much. I was scared she wouldn't remember me, but I think she did. I am very happy to be home and excited to go to bed early tonight!

Our team (hope I get all the last names right): Stacy Powell, Breck Fielding, me, then hiding behind me is Marissa Fischbeck, the two shorties in the front are Deedra Gardner and Bridgit Wright, then behind them is Jen Seiter, Jill Fischbeck, Sadie Taylor, and Tara Fischbeck.

My little sister Brittney had her little baby girl, Kendal Sue Blount, on Sat. She looks just like Brittney, blonde hair, blue eyes, butt chin and all! She is very cute, and Keelie is excited to have another cousin to play with!

My little Keelie is almost 7 months old! I can't believe how fast she is growing. At her 6 mo. doctor appt. she was 15.7 lbs. (50th), 26 3/4 in. (90th), and her head is 17 1/4 in. (90th). We started her on solid fruits and veggies. She seems to like all fruits, but the only veggies she likes so far is sweet potatos, and sometimes she likes squash. But there is still alot of things we need to try. She loves drinking water from her sippy cup. She sits up well, but still isn't crawling yet. She is so close, she get up on her knees but can't seem to move her arms, so she just rolls over. She pretty much sleeps through the night except she wakes up between 5 and 6. If we let her cry she doesn't go back to sleep and it keeps us up. So we usually will just bring her in bed with us and she will sleep until like 7. I know thats not a good habit to start, but I don't want to get up at 5! I don't know what else to do! She is still a really good baby, and we are loving her little personality that is starting to come out!

Show Low Firecracker Co-Ed Tournament Champs!

Yes, you heard me right! We are the 2008 champions of the Co-Ed tournament up in Show Low. We went undefeated the whole tournament. It was so much fun! We have the awesomest team. We all get along so well and have so much fun together. From left to right we have Buck and Sadie Taylor, Dan and Tara Fischbeck, Kevin and Jill Fischbeck, me and Joe, and Travis and Sunni Goodman. I'm pretty sure we were the only team made up of all married couples! Joe has been playing softball with these guys since he got home from his mission, then one by one they all got married. Then a couple of years ago we decided to play co-ed because all of us wives love to play aswell. Who knew we would someday be the Show Low champs!

Anniversary

So today was mine and Joes 4th anniversary! Wow, time sure does fly when your having fun, right! First of all, this morning we went to the Body Wrap and Joe got a massage and I got a facial. It was great! Then we went to an early movie and dinner at our favorite restaurant Carabbas! After we picked Keelie up from Joes parents, we went to Bahama Bucks! It was such a good day. It was fun being able to spend all day with Joe and not have to worry about anything else!Here are some pictures of when we were dating and engaged, and one on our wedding day.I thought it would be fun to reminisce about how we met. Well we did go to high school together but I never got to know him because we didn't really run around in the same circles, eventhough we were in the same group for Christmas formal our junior year. He went with my good friend Ashlie. Then in December 2003 I was hanging out with some friends. (This was about 6 months after he got home from his mission.) I caught my friend Tiffany sneaking away to go meet some guy at the bowling alley and she asked me if I wanted to go. I said yes, so we both snuck away. When we got there, there was like 4 other people with them, and somehow I sat next to Joe and we started talking. After we were done bowling we were all outside deciding what to do next. We couldn't think of anything so we decided to call it a night. On our way home Joes friend called Tiffany to see if we wanted to go watch a movie at Joes house, so we did. Later on I came to find out this was the plan the whole time but they didn't want all the other people to come, they just wanted me and Tiff. We watched How to Lose a Guy In Ten Days, one of my favorite movies. No we didn't kiss that night. Just a little cuddling! Then a few nights later we somehow ended up at the bowling alley again. Joe went through a little bit of a bowling phase. Him and his friends went bowling ALL the time. He even bought his own bowling shoes! This was the night when we really hit it off, and from then on we were inseperable! Joe proposed to me on April 2nd, 2004 at the old look out point on Hawes rd. I wonder if its still there!? There is probably houses up there now. We were married June 25, 2004. Our life has been great ever since. The only thing that could possibly make it even better is our little Keelie Jo. I love my little family so much, and I am so blessed to have such a great husband!

Nap Time

Lately it has been alot harder to get Keelie down for a nap than usual. Mainly because she has been teething again. Yes, thats right, she had 3 teeth before she was 6 months old! And I think she might be getting a fourth because she is drooling alot again. Anyways, when she won't let us rock her to sleep, we will try and just lay her down in her crib and get herself to sleep. That used to work until Joe started making that play time. As soon as we lay her down she flips over to her back and starts kicking and smiling real big and getting really excited. Then Joe puts her blanket over face and plays peek-a-boo with her. She absolutely loves it! She cracks up! If it wasn't so darn cute I might get a little annoyed. So when that doesn't work one of us (usually Joe) will lay down with her on the couch and take a nap with her. I'm not sure why, probably because she likes being close to us, but she sleeps so good this way! I think it is the sweetest thing to see Joe and Keelie napping together so I had to take a picture. I love it!

Memorial Day Weekend

Every Memorial Day we go up north because Joe plays in the Show Low softball tournament. The first time we went was before we were married and I am betting that we will go every year until Joe is too old to play. This year was weird though because it was so cold. It even snowed on us a little bit. I was also really excited because this was Keelies first trip to the cabin.
This is Keelie and her cousin Hailee that is one year older. Hailee can't wait until Keelie is big enough to play with her!
Here are all of us wives cheering our husbands on. A big thank you is in order for Sunni Goodman, Kristin Goodman, and Tara Fischbeck who jumped up to help me when Keelie had an explosion with poop up to her armpits. It was so gross! I felt so bad for Keelie though because we had to strip her down and clean her up with wet wipes and it was sooo cold and windy. I wanted to get a picture but I didn't have a chance and I had poop all over me too. It was definately a four person job! And of course this happened when she was wearing a white onesie with pants that were white with stripes . The good news is that none of it stained! I just bleached the onesie and used spray n wash on the pants. I really contemplated just throwing them away at first. So glad I didn't! All in all it was a fun trip. But hopefully next year it will be a little warmer!
