March

I know March isn't over yet, but I figured I better do a post now or else I might not do one. These are some random pictures of things we have done in March.
Keelie got her first haircut! She didn't get alot cut off but it sure made a world of difference. No more mullet! It is so cute and I love it! Thanks for the great haircut Sunni!

These are the only pictures I have from Spring Break. It was so fun having Joe home ALL week! We packed in as much fun activities as we could.

This at McCormick Ranch on the train. (this will probably be the only picture I will post of me pregnant, even though you can't see my belly, you can definately see it in my cheeks!)

It's that time of year again

Well, baseball season has officially started. Joe is the coach at Carson Jr. High and they had try-outs last week. I am very spoiled the rest of the year with Joe normally getting home from work around 3:30. So it is a big shocker for me when he doesn't get home until like 6:30 now. Needless to say, our afternoons have gotten alot longer and we get bored alot. Since the weather has been soooo nice lately, we have tried to spend alot of time outside. Keelie is very funny. She definately has a routine that she follows. Here is what we do when we go play outside:

We usually swing first. She loves to swing! She used to want to swing for forever and would throw a fit when she had to stop, but now she will swing for a few minutes and then move on to the next thing.

The next thing is playing with her balls. We play catch, kick back and forth, etc.

She loves to balance and walk along these brick things. She walks back and forth bringing me rocks and then I just throw them back over there.

She also loves to "help" dad. Joe has been working on moving these rocks so we can put a garden there and a sandbox for Keelie. She just drags the rake along the dirt, but is so proud to be helping daddy!

There is this little pile of dirt where she "cooks dinner". I don't know how she came up with that. She just pokes around with that metal thing she holding, and says she is cooking. She does make me some yummy cookies though!


It may not be that funny to anyone else, but this is seriously what we do everytime we go outside. I'm thinking that we need to get her some toys for outside. Then maybe one of these days she will go out by herself once in awhile. I know she loves having me follow her around and doing whatever she wants to do though. We love having a backyard now! I seriously don't know what I would do everyday if we didn't have one. I would probably go crazy! Anyone want to come over and play?

Random pictures of Keelie

I am mad at myself for not doing one post in January. My goal is to do atleast one a month. We really haven't had much going on so thats probably why. I just wanted to post some cute recent pictures of Keelie. She is getting way to big!

Here she is loving the camera. She wanted me to keep taking pictures of her.

This is just a funny one of her sleeping. A week or so ago she was napping in her crib and she started screaming all of a sudden. I went in to check on her and both her legs were through similar to this picture, but they were past her knees and she was stuck. It was funny and sad at the same time. I think she is getting a little big for her crib. We are looking in to getting her a new bed. Anyone know of someone that might want to sell us an old bed?

Congrats to Joe!

I just wanted to give Joe a shout out for getting his masters degree and passing his AEPA test which is the state certification to become a principal! He worked so hard taking classes while working and coaching and still graduated with distinction! I love you Joe! Thanks for working so hard!

Christmas 2009

We had a very fun Christmas this year. We tried to teach Keelie what Christmas is really about. If you ask her whose birthday is on Christmas she will say Jesus! I think thats pretty good for a 2 year old! We didn't take very many pictures, but here are a few:

Keelie opening her presents. Luckily she just had her b-day and got tons of toys, so we just got her a few things.

I know this bike is way to big for her, but when she saw it a few weeks ago, the look on her face was priceless, so we decided to give it to her for Christmas. (one of Joes co-workers offered it to us, so we took it knowing she wouldn't be able to actually ride for a few years.) She loves it when Joe pushes her around on it.

Happy Birthday Keelie!!

Today is Keelie's 2nd birthday! Doesn't she look so cute in her princess dress! Sometimes I have to tell her things are "princess" so that she will wear them. She was excited to wear this though. Until we got to church and she said "I don't like this dress!" and tried to take it off! I don't think she is a fan of sleeves that are that length. Oh well, she still is gorgeous!

We had a birthday party for her yesterday at our house. It was so fun! She had a ton of cousins over and they just played hard for a few hours. I am pretty proud of myself too. The only thing we spent money on for her party was for the cake and ice cream, oh and her present (obviously). We used decorations we already had, I stole the scrapbook paper from my mom to make the sign you see in the picture below, and we borrowed the bounce house from my grandparents. Keelie had so much fun!
