Big girl bed

Well, we finally moved Keelie into her big girl bed. She still cries a little when we first lay her down, and she's only climbed out of bed like twice, but she's getting better. How stinkin' sweet is she! What a big girl! Next is potty training. I'm getting induced next Sunday the 23rd, so I'm hoping she'll be potty trained (for the most part) by then. Think I can do it? We'll see! Maybe I'll just have my mom do it for me while I'm in the hospital. jk. I'll take any suggestions anybody might have. Wish me luck!

Happy Birthday!!!

Today Joe turns the big 2-8!! Too bad he has baseball practice and then softball games tonight. I guess we'll have to celebrate this weekend! We love you Joe! Hope you have a great day! ( I don't have any pictures of just Joe. sad!)

Runnin thru the sprinklers

Have I mentioned before how I love having a backyard now? Well I do! The weather has been so great lately we have been trying to spend alot of time outside. Today Joe had the idea of running through the sprinklers. Keelie absolutely loved it and laughed and laughed the whole time, even though she was shivering. I was a bum though and just sat in a chair and took some pictures and soaked up some sun. And yes, Keelie is wearing a teeny bikini. She loved it cuz its pink. I told her not to get used to wearing bikinis though! Modest is hottest!

Hopefully after a few more weeks of doing this we'll all have some good tans!

Easter

Man, the older Keelie gets, the worse I get at taking pictures. Hopefully I'll get better once this baby comes. Anyways, here are the three pictures we took of Easter.

Keelie in her Easter dress. This was actually a few weeks before Easter. Since conference was on Easter this year, I figured it didn't matter when she wore it.

We had a bbq and Easter egg hunt with the Penrods at Usery Pass/Park (i don't know which one its called).

March

I know March isn't over yet, but I figured I better do a post now or else I might not do one. These are some random pictures of things we have done in March.
Keelie got her first haircut! She didn't get alot cut off but it sure made a world of difference. No more mullet! It is so cute and I love it! Thanks for the great haircut Sunni!

These are the only pictures I have from Spring Break. It was so fun having Joe home ALL week! We packed in as much fun activities as we could.

It's that time of year again

Well, baseball season has officially started. Joe is the coach at Carson Jr. High and they had try-outs last week. I am very spoiled the rest of the year with Joe normally getting home from work around 3:30. So it is a big shocker for me when he doesn't get home until like 6:30 now. Needless to say, our afternoons have gotten alot longer and we get bored alot. Since the weather has been soooo nice lately, we have tried to spend alot of time outside. Keelie is very funny. She definately has a routine that she follows. Here is what we do when we go play outside:

We usually swing first. She loves to swing! She used to want to swing for forever and would throw a fit when she had to stop, but now she will swing for a few minutes and then move on to the next thing.

The next thing is playing with her balls. We play catch, kick back and forth, etc.

She loves to balance and walk along these brick things. She walks back and forth bringing me rocks and then I just throw them back over there.

She also loves to "help" dad. Joe has been working on moving these rocks so we can put a garden there and a sandbox for Keelie. She just drags the rake along the dirt, but is so proud to be helping daddy!

There is this little pile of dirt where she "cooks dinner". I don't know how she came up with that. She just pokes around with that metal thing she holding, and says she is cooking. She does make me some yummy cookies though!


It may not be that funny to anyone else, but this is seriously what we do everytime we go outside. I'm thinking that we need to get her some toys for outside. Then maybe one of these days she will go out by herself once in awhile. I know she loves having me follow her around and doing whatever she wants to do though. We love having a backyard now! I seriously don't know what I would do everyday if we didn't have one. I would probably go crazy! Anyone want to come over and play?

I am mad at myself for not doing one post in January. My goal is to do atleast one a month. We really haven't had much going on so thats probably why. I just wanted to post some cute recent pictures of Keelie. She is getting way to big!

Here she is loving the camera. She wanted me to keep taking pictures of her.

This is just a funny one of her sleeping. A week or so ago she was napping in her crib and she started screaming all of a sudden. I went in to check on her and both her legs were through similar to this picture, but they were past her knees and she was stuck. It was funny and sad at the same time. I think she is getting a little big for her crib. We are looking in to getting her a new bed. Anyone know of someone that might want to sell us an old bed?
