Fun in the sun

Today Sunni and I took the girls to Espee Park(i think thats the name) to play in the water. It wasn't the best splash park we've been to(tempe is the funnest), but it was hot and there was water so it was fun. Keelie didn't even want to go in the water at first, she just wanted to play at the park right next to it. But once she got in, I think she liked it!

Keelie and her buds Tatum and Peyton (my future babysitters). She LOVES them, and so do I cuz I hardly have to watch her when we are with them. They are SO good with her.

And Sunni, you are probably thinking that I don't have a life cuz we were just there a few hours ago and I am already posting this. Well, you are right! Thanks for hanging out with us today! We always have blast with you guys!

5 years

On the 25th Joe and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary! I remember when we were first married, I thought 5 years sounded like such a long time to be married. It's crazy to think we have been married that long! To celebrate, we spent a few nights at the Point Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix. It was so fun and relaxing. This first picture is exactly what did the whole time. Lay out by the pool all day! They had 8 different pools, but we spent most of our time at the adult only pool cuz they had the comfy cushions on the chairs. (Don't worry, it wasn't one of those bathing suit optional places.) I was a little nervous when we woke up Thurs. morning cuz it was all cloudy and stuff, and I was worried I wouldn't be able to get the tan that I wanted. But it couldn't have been more perfect. We seriously layed there ALL day. We left for a like a half hour to get lunch and that was it. The weather was perfect for laying out and we both got burned!

We walked around one night after dinner and took alot pictures but they all pretty much looked the same. Joe and I sitting or standing by one the many waterfalls. So I just chose one of them so as not to bore.

We had such a good time! We didn't want to come home. We did miss Keelie though. We talked about her the whole time and kept saying how much she would love all the pools and stuff. Maybe next time Keelie!

18 months

Keelie is now 18 months and I couldn't be more excited! Nursery time! She went for the first time on Sunday and she loved it. They said she did really good, which I knew she would. She didn't want to leave when I went to pick her up. I always like to put her stats from the doctor on here and they are pretty much what they always are: 25th percentile for weight, 52nd for height, and, of course, 90th for head! She is a healthy little girl! So now I might start annoying people by bragging about my child on here, but I want this written down so I can remember all the things she can do and say at this age. I thought about making a list of all the words she can say, but there are too many to count. She talks so much. She says, or atleast attempts to say anything we tell her to. She is even starting to say small sentences like "I did it" or "I want more" or "I want nudder (another) one" to name a few. She knows alot of animal sounds (again I didn't want to list them cuz there are alot). She is so good at remembering peoples names. She knows most of her aunts, uncles and cousins names. And all of her friends names. When I ask her who her best friend is she says "Maynum" (thats how she says Peyton). She knows how to say and where her nose, eyes, ears, teeth, hair, elbow, armpit, belly, knee, ankle, toes, and hands are and just recently learned bum bum. And just in the last week or so she learned to count to 5. She is such a sweet a girl and loves to give hugs and kisses, without even being asked alot of the time! She won't let us say a prayer or a blessing on the food until everyone in the room has their arms folded. It's pretty funny. She will yell your name until your arms are folded. She amazes us everyday with the things she says and does. I am sure I am even forgetting about something. She has such a fun and happy personality. We sure love you Keelie!!!

Zollingers come to AZ!!

We had alot of fun this last week and a half with my sisters family in town. We went swimming ALOT! I didn't take any pictures of us swimming though. One night we just hung out at my parents and the weather was nice so we hung out outside for awhile. We played catch by throwing the ball over my parents house from the backyard to the front yard which was fun. All the guys were also trying to catch lizards on the back fence. That was very entertaining to watch!

One day we took them to Bass Pro. The kids loved seeing all the animals.

We went to the little water area at San Tan mall one of the first days they were here. It was fun but definately not as fun as the Tempe splash park!

Keelie had so much fun playing with Maci and Bryce. We miss you guys already! I guess its our turn to come to Texas now!

Sick baby

My baby girl is so sick! It all started last night around 10:30, she woke up crying and wouldn't stop so Joe went in to check on her and when he opened the door I hear her say "Poopy!". And yes, all over her crib. (not her bumper this time though!) After we got her cleaned up and back to bed, we heard her throwing up about 20 min. later. She hasn't stopped throwing up since. She has thrown up well over 10 times. I got her some cherry flavored pedialyte, and now we have red spotty carpet! That is why she is sitting on a towel. We now have towels covering our floor just in case. Doesn't she look so sad and miserable:(
